The McGavock Raiders compete in TSSAA's largest classification.  We are members of District 12 which includes the Antioch Bears, Overton Bobcats, Glencliff Colts, Hillsboro Boros, Hillwood Hilltoppers, Hunters Lane Warriors, and Cane Ridge Ravens.  In addition to their conference schedule, the Raider Football Team consistently schedules some of the strongest programs in Middle Tennessee as we continue to work to build the premier program in Nashville.



McGavock High School is an Academies of Nashville school located in the Donelson/Hermitage area that serves students from all over Metro Nashville including the middle schools of Two Rivers, Donelson, Dupont Hadley, and Dupont Tyler.  It is the proud home of the small learning communities of Aviation & Transportation, Digital Arts Design & Communications & Center for Fine Arts, Health Science & Law, Hospitality & Finance, and the Freshman Academy.  These academies are aligned with local businesses and large corporations such as US Community Credit Union, Gaylord, Cedarstone Bank, Middle Tennessee State University, Rockettown, Nashville Airport Authority, and Country Music Television.  These partnerships as well as the pathways students choose allow for McGavock to offer a unique and unparalleled educational opportunity to all of its students.
